Where To Find Wargtooth Shallows Lucky Dice
If you’re looking to complete the Wargtooth Shallows Lucky Dice challenge in Gearbox Software’s latest video game, then this guide is just what you need! Let’s start off with a map of the area that will give you an idea of where to look for these collectibles.
It pays to know that these chests are only available once you have completed both main and side quests in the area. Completing the side-quests here unlocks access to areas that wouldn’t be available otherwise. Now let’s run through each chest location one by one according to our map above. There we go, we’ve got all the Wargtooth Shallows Lucky Dice ticked off now – easy peasy!

Dice 1, 2 & 3 – Small Ravine & Recent Beach
If you’re looking to get your hands on the Wargtooth Shallows Lucky Die, then head over to Recent Beach. You’ll want to go underneath the overturned boat and into the small ravine that lies ahead of you. Clear out any hostile crabs you might find on your way there, and once they’ve been taken care of veer left in the ravine – this is where you’ll find it!
Dice #2 is also located in Recent Beach. If you’re coming from Bones Three-Wood, take a left and look out for a rotting wooden structure – that’s where you’ll find this one. It’s not far from the last die in the area, so it shouldn’t be too hard to track down.
Dice 3 is near where you’ll find Mobley Dick. And if you head left from there, the die should be pretty easy to find as you’ll see it right near a shipwreck and up the small wooden ramp.
Dice 4, 5 & 6 – Coral Ledge, Strange Crate & Hanging Anchor
This dice is just to the immediate left of Plunder Port. When you make the turn, you’ll stumble upon a rune switch, which will lead you to a cave. And right on the ledge is the dice we’re looking for.
Dice 5 is located further up the climb we began earlier. Once you reach the top, you should see a few crates stacked up by the houses in front of you. Right behind those crates, you’ll find the dice tucked away out of sight.
Dice 6 is also in the same spot, but you’ll have to do yourself a favor and just look up. Stretched from one of the masted houses, you’ll see a hanging anchor. Shooting the anchor will release it and cause it to destroy some floorboards, which will reveal the next lucky dice and some extra goodies for you to loot.
Dice 7, 8 & 9 – Shipwreck, Poetry Page & Purple Pool
If you’re enjoying playing through Wargtooth Shallows, you’ll want to make sure that you don’t miss out on collecting all of the Lucky Dice. The easiest way to get Dice 7 is by heading down the water slide in Splish Splash Path and turning left at the shipwreck – it may sound daunting but don’t worry, balancing on these boards isn’t too hard and there’s no water below either! You’ll also find a Lucky Die 8 there just a few steps from a local Poetry Page.
But if you really want to unlock the secret of this area of Wargtooth Shallows, then make your way over to where the vending machines and checkpoint are located. Floating above an eerie purple pool is another Lucky Die 9 – but be warned, getting through to it involves smashing through a fake wall!

Dice 10, 11, 12 & 13 – Waterfalls, Pirate Ship, Ghosts & The Hull
If you’re playing through the Ballad of Bones quest in Wargtooth Shallows, keep an eye out for a Lucky Die 11 behind a small crawl space in the half-ruined pirate ship!
Gearbox also loves to hide things behind waterfalls, so be sure to check there first for Dice 10.
After that, Bones Three-Wood will tell his story and you can find the Lucky Die 12 in one of the nearby buildings. Accessing it requires some jumping but it’s worth it for this hidden treasure!
One more place to look is amid the ruins of a ship – if you can make your way inside, you’ll get yourself a Lucky Die 13.

Dice 14 & 15 – Storms & Cannons
If you’re playing Wargtooth Shallows, then you already know that it’s impossible to find Lucky Die 14 without tackling the Raiders of the Lost Shark side quest. During the quest, you’ll walk by a ledge with some branching paths – and that’s where this dice will be located.
But be sure not to miss out on Lucky Die 15, which is hidden away behind wooden boards. To gain access to this secret chamber, you’ll have to look up and make use of the cannon attached to what remains of a pirate ship nearby – shoot the red gunpowder barrel, and voila! You’re in.
Dice 16, 17 & 18 – Shipwreck, Ambush & The Loo
Aside from waterfalls and crates, Gearbox likes to put these dice inside Shipwrecks. And surprise surprise…that’s where you’ll find #16.
Dice 17 is nearby, on top of a pile of sand. However, you’ll have to dodge or fight some dog sharks in order to make it to the top.
The last dice is going to be right near the pile of sand, just a little higher atop the Coral Ledge.
Dice 19, 20 & 21 – More Pirates & Temple Pillars
If you’ve played through any amount of Tiny Tina’s wonderland – you’ll know that most buildings aren’t accessible. So many players struggle to find Dice 19, because it’s actually inside one of the buildings, tucked away with some pirate weapons.
The next dice will be part of the side quest “Twenty Thousands Years Under The Sea” – where you can get inside the temple. The dice is located between two pillars on one of the side paths.
And last but not least, if you go all the way to the back of the temple, there’s the final Wargtooth Shallows Lucky Dice – just chilling on top of one of the pillars. Bear in mind, you’ll need to have progressed through the quest in order to be able to access the back of the temple.
