Trying to hit endgame faster and wondering what Fallout 76 fast leveling methods you’ll need to employ? Use our best tips to hit endgame faster than ever before!
It’s no secret that Fallout 76 is an absolutely stunning game. From the wealth of content to the enormous world you’ll get to explore – there’s no shortage of stuff to uncover and enjoy with this cult classic.
However, there’s one small problem that most newer players seem to run into time and time again. Leveling up to level 50 (which you’ll need to enjoy the endgame content) is just an absolute pain in the butt…
But, let’s say you forget about hitting the higher levels. Well, in that case, you’ll just get face rolled and wiped out by high-level mobs and all sorts of glitches, bugs, and “content” that the game is all too famous for.
And in all honesty, that was my dot-to-dot experience when I first got started with plowing my way through the title…
So, after hundreds of hours, a wealth of experience, and 10+ different characters leveled – I’m finally here to share the best tips I’ve got when it comes to leveling up quickly in Fallout 76.
Let’s dive right in!
Ample Sleep = XP Boost

While most players don’t know this – getting a decent amount of sleep in the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout 76 actually awards you with a nice experience gain bonus.
How much sleep is enough? Once your character has got some shut-eye – you’ll see a “well-rested” status notification on your game’s HUD. This status offers a 5% bonus to any experience you gain while affected.
While 5% may not be a game-changer for most folks, it’s nothing to scoff at by any means and goes a long way towards hitting the higher levels that much quicker.
Don’t Skip The Workshops

Let’s face it – at the end of the day, Fallout 76 is a bit old-school in the fact that there are no real “Powerleveling” methods for you to play around with.
At the end of the day, you’ll have to kill enemies for experience points. The more you kill in a given span of time, the faster you level up – it’s that simple!
And when it comes to chunking away at that XP bar – you’ll need to take down packs of dozens of enemies at the same time to make any notable progress.
So, where do you think we’ll be able to put this whole scenario together? Workshops, of course!
When you start liberating a workshop, the game will spawn multiple waves of enemies, and if you’re on-par gear and kit-wise, you should have no problem slaughtering wave after wave while racking up some very juicy experience gains in the process.
Pro Tip: Try to unlock several workshops at the same time and cycle between them as they start each stage of the event. This increases your hourly XP gain and reduces idle time, allowing you to level up that much faster.
Group Up, Loner!

Sure, we all need our alone time once in a while. However, in Fallout 76 – playing in a group actually gives you a pretty big advantage if you want to level up to the endgame fast.
All in all, you’ll be able to get a very good amount of experience points, without doing anywhere near the level of work you’d otherwise have to put in when playing solo.
Clear some workshops, do some dailies, and get your party-mates to do the big tasks for you – all while you kick back, relax, and enjoy the level gains.
Do Your Dailies

If you’re coming over from another game like World of Warcraft, you may already be familiar with how important daily missions and quests are.
Thankfully, they’re no less important (or beneficial to you) in Fallout 76, especially when it comes to leveling up quickly.
Generally, daily missions are pretty brain-dead and are very easy to quickly check off for the most part. However, while they might be a bit boring, they do offer some very solid XP.
And hey, you get some bonus caps to go with all those level gains too!
The best part lies in the fact that missions generally cycle and repeat, meaning you’ll be doing the same runs over and over again – so once you do a given daily one or two times, you’ll have a pretty good idea of what you’ll need to do to wrap it up next time around.
Double XP Weekends Are Amazing

RuneScape players, prep your dongles – it’s time for us to talk about Double XP weekends!
While the concept isn’t all that wide-spread among the RPG scene, Fallout 76 players get to enjoy these god-sent bonuses once every so often.
The whole event works pretty much in-line with what it would sound like. You get 2-time the XP gains from quests, missions, kills, and events. This allows you to level up much quicker, without doing too much work or spending all that much time.
Pro Tip: Focus down on clearing workshops during double XP weekends to really see the levels roll in!
Craft Your Way To Max
If you’ve got ample materials kicking around, or some loaded friends – there’s simply no need to trudge through the game in order to hit the max level in Fallout 76.
Note: I really wouldn’t recommend this approach if you’re new to the game or haven’t played through it all at least once!
Basically, if you really do the math crafting actually nets a very decent amount of XP throughout the game. From boards to hats, lever-action rifles, and even stimpacks – most crafts in the game are actually relatively XP-efficient.
