Unfortunately, in BDO – you can’t just sell your fish anywhere you feel like. Normal goods vendors won’t accept them, and with certain traders – you’ll find yourself getting ripped off left and right.

The Trade Manager
While other games like World of Warcraft would commonly dub this the “Auction House” – people wondering about BDO where to sell fish would have to head to the Trade Manager in order to pawn off their seafood, whereas players looking to sell their items for real world cash would usually head to a site like igitems.
How To Find The Trade Manager In BDO
To find the Trade Manager, you’ll need to press the “M” hotkey to open the in-game world map.
Here, you’ll need to find and select the search icon.
And once you’ve done this, look for the Trade Manager in the Nearby NPC list. They should be denoted as a cartwheel.
Once you select the Trade Manager, your character will set an automatic path to the nearest one.
How To Sell Your Fish
Once you arrive at the trade manager in BDO – you’ll need to talk to them and open the trading window.
In this window, you’ll see your inventory of goods that are ready to be sold. And among them, will be your fish.
Simply click the fish you’d like to barter, and either set a specific price or click on the Sell All option in order to empty your inventory at the current average price of the in-game market.
Now, even though selling the fish is a fairly brainless process. Here’s a tip – try to sell your fish at the furthest node from where you caught the fish. If you want to make absolute bank, remember the rule of 3’s. Each node you pass adds a hefty 3% increase to the price of the fish you’re carrying.
However, don’t bother linking the nodes, as that actually doesn’t really impact the maximum price at all.
Additionally, it’s a good idea to get the Artisan II trading buff and sell them at Valencia if you really want to squeeze out every last penny that you can.
Tip – Don’t Forget About The Imperial Fishing Delivery NPC
Did you know you can also sell off certain types and quantities of fish outside of the Trade Manager? If you’ve never met the fine lad in-game, here’s a handy tip.
The Imperial Fishing Delivery NPC also accepts yellow and blue fish, and he’ll pay you handsomely for them as well.
However, keep in mind – this NPC will only accept a set quantity of fish per node. And just like the trade manager you can find the NPC via your map’s nearby NPC’s list. Or alternatively, you can just search for “Fishing” via the search function in-game.
What Kind Of Fish Can You Sell In BDO?
As with most games, fish in Black Desert come in certain “tiers”. Typically, you’ll see fish ranked in 5 simple categories. These categories not only dictate the rarity of the fish you catch in-game, but they also set the price for which the fish you’ve got will sell.

- Orange Fish – This is the rarest & most desired category. They sell for 125,000 silver in-game.

- Blue Fish – These are fairly common if you spend a lot of time fishing. You’ll be able to sell these for around 5,000 silver.
- Green Fish – Fairly common, selling for about 2,000 silver.
- White Fish – Mostly junk, but you can sell them for 200 silver each.
