With tons of replayability and hidden content to discover, it’s no wonder why this game is so underrated. But if you really want to take your gaming experience up a notch, then unlocking all the pets should be your goal. There are over fifteen different pets in total, each requiring some sort of elaborate questline for them to unlock. It’s like an adventure within an adventure – how cool is that?
Asmody (Senenthia)
First, you’ll need to head over to Senenthia for some fun. Head to the River Bank “A Fun Game” Map Node, select [Play], and then after getting past the waterfall, choose either [Combat] or [Threaten]. You’ll be rewarded with a Ruined Book no matter which option you pick.
Next up is Velkarath – Act 2 or Act 3 will do – and find yourself an Empty Tent (“The Empty Camp” Map Node). Select [Explore] here too, and another book will be yours!
Then comes The Void: the first map cleared, and move on to the second one. Here’s where things get interesting: at The Library (“The Ancient Library” Map Node) select [Explore] again for yet another book. Finally, it’s time for the grand finale! Go to The Magic Circle (“The Colored Runes“) Map Node and hit that [Use] button; Asmody should appear before your eyes in no time. And just like that – congratulations are in order – all pets are now unlocked!
Betty (Senenthia)
On your journey across the obelisk colored runes in Senenthia, one of the most rewarding events you can stumble upon is ‘The Lost Sheep’. Completing this event allows you to unlock Betty as a pet, look for this event and interact with it. When you do, prepare for battle with a crazed sheep that won’t go down without a fight!
Once defeated and safe from harm, take Betty back to its home at the Betty’s House “Betty Returns Safely” Map Node. If Nezglekt is accompanying you on your adventure (and let’s face it – who doesn’t want him along?), pick his option when presented with dialogue choices. But even if he isn’t present, both the Bargain or Murder options will still work in unlocking Betty as an adorable pet.
As anyone who has played through this section of the game knows all too well, unlocking all pets is no easy task – but worth it in the end! It’s always satisfying when you find that last missing link and complete your collection of critters. So don’t lose heart; keep exploring those obelisk colored runes until you’ve found them all!
Bunny (N/A)
You can acquire Bunny by purchasing him from pretty much any town store. There are no special requirements to unlock him at the moment.
Champy, Chompy & Chumpy (Velkarath)
Champy
First, head over to Velkarath for Act 2 specifically — if you try completing it during Act 3, the quest won’t be completable. Then make your way to The Goblin Chieftain Map Node and select the [Combat] option. Once they’ve been cleared out, you should receive a Small Log as a reward – hold onto it until we reach Faeborg.
Once there, take the bottom path to The Tyrant “Beavers Finally Rest” Map Node (you’ll need a boat that costs 1k Gold). At the node pick either [Combat] or [Ambush], then beat that power-hungry bear! After defeating him choose the [Throw] option which tells you about throwing Small Logs at Beavers with small axes – Champy will be unlocked!
Normally getting all three of these little critters would require multiple playthroughs – but here’s an easy trick that makes life much simpler: after selecting one Beaver and getting to the Loot Screen simply Alt+F4 and re-select who gets thrown at again while still having your first choice unlocked – giving us access to all three Beavers in one run!
Chompy
You’ll need to use the same method as with Champy. To do this, pick the [Throw] option that mentions throwing a Small Log toward one with a Harpoon. It’s an easy enough step and once you’ve got it down, you’ll be able to move on to unlocking all those cute little critters!
In addition to following these steps, there are some other things worth keeping in mind. Firstly, make sure that your log is of small size – any bigger and it won’t be thrown correctly by the harpoon holder. Secondly, always check for any obstructions between where your character is standing and the harpoon holder – if anything blocks their line of sight they won’t be able to catch your throw! Finally, keep practicing until you get really good at throwing accurately – because when it comes to unlocking those adorable pets, precision counts!
Chumpy
If you’re looking to unlock all the pets in ‘Across the Obelisk Colored Runes’, then you know that Chumpy is a great place to start. Next up, try your luck on the Group Event – if you can score a five or higher then Daley is yours! But don’t be too disheartened if it’s lower – there are plenty of other awesome pets out there that will join your team.

Flamy (Senenthia)
Ready for a wild adventure? Then you’ve come to the right place! If you want to unlock all the pets in Across the Obelisk, here’s what you need to do.
First, head over to Senenthia and make your way to The Hatch Map Node. When this special event is active, pick either [Enter] or [Open] and if Cornelius is in your party, his option will guarantee entry. Once inside the Sub-Dungeon Map, keep on going until you reach The Summoning Ritual Map Node. Here, choose either [Persuade] or Cornelius’ option.
The next step of this thrilling journey takes us over to Velkarath – Act 2 or Act 3 – where we find ourselves at The Banquet Map Node. Select [Accept] and watch as imps roam free while Flamy joins your collection of pets!
This quest may seem daunting but with a little determination and these steps as your guide, unlocking all those adorable critters shouldn’t be too hard! Good luck adventurers!
Liantä (Aquarfall Marsh)
If you’re looking to unlock all the pets in Across the Obelisk, then head on over to Aquarfall Marsh and make your way down south until you come across the Spider’s Lair. If you’ve got Thuls or Zek with you, they should be able to get you inside with no problem.
Once there, go through a narrow gap at the Dead Adventurer Map Node – if Heiner, Bree, or Grukli are part of your party, they’ll guarantee safe passage. Interact with the dead adventurer and open up the cocoon – out pops Lianta! And like that just like that, he joins your team.
It’s always helpful having an extra set of hands (or claws?) around when tackling tricky puzzles or taking down baddies – so why not add an extra pet companion? Unlocking them all is sure to give your adventure a boost!
Mozzy (Aquarfall Marsh)
Calling all gamers! If you want to unlock all the pets in Across the Obelisk, this one’s for you. Here’s a guide on how to get Mozzy, one of the cutest companions along your journey.
First off, head over to Aquarfall Marsh and make sure to bring 1,000 Gold with you – or Gustav if he’s part of your party – as you’ll need it for a boat ride up towards Malukah’s Shop. Once there, take a chance at stealing Mozzy’s Egg by picking the [Steal] option – or Thuls’ unique option if he happens to be around.
After that, it’s time for Velkarath where you’ll find yourself at the Lava Cascade “How To Boil An Egg” Map Node. Make sure not to forget about the egg because choosing [Continue] here will put it near the lava and Mozzy will hatch soon enough!

If you’re looking to get your hands on the obelisk-colored runes pet, look no further! Unlocking this pet is pretty simple and doesn’t require a lot of effort. To start, make sure you have at least one party member with a pet before reaching Act 2 in Aquarfall Marsh. You can either spend 800 Gold to get there via boat or opt for the free route by siding with the Crocomen path through Eastern Village.
Once you reach the Monster Trainer Map Node (if it’s available), select any of the “Train My Pet!” options – and voila! Oculy will be joining your crew for free. It’s that easy, so why wait? Get out there and start unlocking those obelisk-colored runes pets now!
Orby (Velkarath)
If you’re into unlocking all the pets in Across the Obelisk, then you know that it can be a bit of a challenge. But don’t worry – here’s an easy guide to help get you started.
Head on over to Velkarath and check out The Obsidian Shipment Map Node. Choose the Ambush option, which requires a Group Event draw. If successful, you’ll be rewarded with some Obsidian Ingots – hold onto these until Act 4 when you head over to The Sacred Forge Map Node. Give the blacksmith your ingots and craft Orby who will become available to win!
It may take some time and require some patience but if you follow these steps and keep at it, before long you could have all those pets unlocked…so what are you waiting for? Get going!
Sharpy (Velkarath)
Ready to unlock all the pets in Across the Obelisk? You’ll need Velkarath and Aquarfall Marsh for this one. To get things started, head over to Velkarath’s Harpy Nest Map Node, choose [Combat] and defeat the Harpy Matriarch; you’ll end up with an egg added to your party’s inventory.
The next stop is Aquarfall Marsh – if you don’t have 800 gold, there’s always the Crocomen method. Once you’ve got a boat, make your way over to the Altar of Songs Map Node and select [Continue]. Place the egg near the altar so it can hatch – et voila! Sharpy will now become part of your team.

Slimy (Aquarfall Marsh)
Head to Aquarfall Marsh, and explore the Western Village “The Lizardmen Tribe” Map Node. Here you can pick up some essential items such as Slime Bait, Hammer, and Nails – this last one is optional but useful if you want to build a boat without spending too much Gold.
Once you have your supplies head on over to the Spider Lair “The Spiders’ Cave” Map Node. When inside, make sure to find the Poisonous River “Slimes On The Bridge” Map Node with the Slime Bait Icon next to it so that you can interact with the event. Get ready for an exciting adventure when you [Throw] the Slime Bait – Slimy will join your party!
This might sound like a lot of work, but trust me when I say it’s worth it – unlocking all pets in Across The Obelisk Colored Runes promises hours of fun and rewarding gameplay!
Stormy (Aquarfall Marsh)
If you want to unlock Stormy, the quest starts in Aquarfall Marsh. Look around the Eastern Village, “An Empty Village” Map Node, and find Naga Notes, then choose either the far right or middle path – one leads to a free boat, and the other leads to combat. Once you’ve got your hands on a boat (for free or 800 Gold!) head over to the Naga Mural “The Lightning Runes” Map Node. Here, use your deciphering skills to read it, and boom! You’ve unlocked Stormy as a pet.
